Voice Acting Tip #1

Post  Mochan on Fri Jun 06, 2008 8:37 pm

When screaming, try not to have the mic directly in front of you. Hold it off to the side and position yourself several inches away from the mic. Then scream to your hearts content! Remember, depending on your settings and the mic, you may want to adjust your volume levels on whatever program you're using. So do a few test screams before sending it off.

Another way is to hold the mic directly below you and scream out and away from the mic. Either method is sure not to peak, as long as all your settings are right.

Screaming is fun, but be sure to keep hydrated!
